Nathan Ngai surprised at rumours of sexual harassment

8 May – Nathan Ngai has recently expressed surprise over rumours that he was fired from TVB over sexual harassment allegations.

As reported on On CC, sources recently claimed that the actor, who was reportedly dropped from TVB a year before his contract expiry, supposedly tried to force a kiss his "Line Walker: The Prelude" co-star Louisa Mak while they were filming the drama together.

The source added that after Nathan repeatedly asked her on a date despite her rejection, Louisa decided to spend more time with co-stars Benjamin Yuen and Priscilla Wong so not to be alone with him.

Allegedly, Louisa later complained to TVB's top management about Nathan's inappropriate behaviour and eventually causing his contract termination.

However, it was also reported that this is not the first time Nathan has misbehaved with TVB actresses.

When asked to address the rumours recently, Nathan said that he is confused by the rumours as he has never heard of it.

"I don't know how these rumours came to be. I have already sent Louisa a text message asking what is going on. None of this is true. Hopefully these rumours didn't come from her, and that all of us will continue to respect each other," he said.

However, he added that Louisa has yet to respond to his message.

Nathan also confirmed news that TVB has terminated his contract, adding that he had left the station a few weeks ago.

As to reason for his termination, he responded, "I don't know. They never told me why."
