Natalie Tong is single and ready for romance
11 Jul – TVB actress Natalie Tong recently denied once and for all rumours of her dating Hong Kong's famed educator, Samuel Chan.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who has been romantically linked to Samuel - dubbed "the Wang Leehom of the education sector" - for a while now, stressed that the two of them are nothing more than friends despite what the media has been saying.
"I am still single," she said, though added that she is now more open to getting to know people from various industries.
"I used to be afraid of people who are different from me. Now I try to understand their world. People face different pressures and challenges, and you will find that yours are not the hardest," she said.
Asked if she would be as open about her future relationship as she did with actor Tony Hung in the past, Natalie said that it would depend on the decision of both parties.
"You have to understand that nobody is the same. If the other party wants us to be open about it, then I will be open about it. We have to agree on it," she said.
