Natalie Tong denies avoiding Tony at StarHub TVB Awards

24 Oct – Natalie Tong has dismissed rumours that she intentionally avoided ex-boyfriend Tony Hung at the recently held StarHub TVB Awards.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who came home to Hong Kong from Singapore recently, shared that she just didn't get the chance to meet Tony at the awards since they were arranged to appear on the red carpet at different times.

And since the dressing rooms were also separated between male and female stars, Natalie stated that they just didn't get the opportunity to greet each other.

"Everything has been arranged. I didn't deliberately ask not to be paired with him," she said.

Meanwhile, Natalie also stated that she is not disappointed that she lost in the My Favourite TVB Supporting Actress category to Jacqueline Wong, saying that she is still happy to have won the My Favourite Character and My Favourite Onscreen Couple awards.
