Nancy Wu wants to expand career in mainland China

 

 

16 Mar – Hong Kong actress Nancy Wu recently admitted that she would like to try and expand her talent to the north if given a chance.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress said this in a recent interview, after it was revealed that her character in her new series, "Mission Run" was highly loved by mainland netizens, adding however that it would not be easy.

"I appreciate Vincent's courage and guts very much," she said, referring to her co-star's career in mainland China. "I know it is a big challenge for me to speak Mandarin fluently, but I am looking forward to it."

In "Mission Run", Nancy plays Lok Tze Yan/Tou Man, a chairwoman of a company who is also one of the children who were victims of a tenement building collapse.

 

Asked if he has any tips for Nancy, Vincent stated that it would be much easier to practice her Mandarin once she is in the environment, communicating with the locals.

"In addition to practicing Mandarin, it is best to learn a few more languages as well," he added.
