Nana Ouyang denies making trouble to delay a shoot
6 Sep - Nana Ouyang's camp has recently dismissed speculations that the musician-actress is the person named in a recent gossip.
As reported on Oriental Daily, a Weibo account called Miao Gushi Ju shared a blind item about a female artiste who keeps creating issues in order to avoid a shoot.
The story goes that an anonymous staff member revealed that the said artiste did not want to shoot a certain project, but in order not to offend the platform, she decided to make trouble for the magazine.
This includes declining an entire page plan and picking a renowned photographer, which resulted in the project being delayed for more than half a year.
Many had since speculated that the artiste was Nana Ouyang, prompting her studio to release a statement on 3 September.
It read, "Today, an unknown person spread false information about Ms. Nana Ouyang through the Internet, which was highly misleading in nature. We hereby solemnly declare that the content is all rumours."
"At work, we have tried our best to complete every cooperation project and respect the efforts and achievements of every cooperating parties. Legal measures will be taken if such a rumour is to appear again," the company added.
