Nana Liang slams media for accusing her of cheating
30 Apr – Taiwanese rapper Nana Liang has recently taken to social media to dismiss rumours that she had actually been cheating on King Kong Lee with another man prior to their breakup.
As reported on Mingpao, the Taiwanese celebrity went on social media to explain herself, saying that she was frustrated over Hong Kong tabloids claiming that the man seen with her in a previous photo was the third party in her relationship with the TV personality.
"When writing [news], the media should maintain a neutral attitude and should not be biased by the influence of personal friendship. When cognition begins to deviate, things will lose their authenticity... I haven't developed [my career] in Hong Kong, but it doesn't mean that I will let myself be blamed for the unjustifiable crime," she wrote.
Nana stated that the photo that has been circulating in media was taken a while ago, and the man, who was a driving instructor, was nothing more than just a friend. As for the photo showing his hand near her chest area, Nana explained that it was just a matter of photographed angles.
"He fell asleep and his hands were unintentionally extended when he changed his posture. I just wanted to take pictures with my friend and accidentally took that photo. Even the said friend didn't know the photo was taken. Everybody has the right to make friends. If I ride with someone else, does that mean I have a relationship with that person?" she wrote.
Nana also expressed her frustration over the fact that the tabloids took the photo from her social media account and decided to make up their own stories about her love life, and reiterated that the man was nothing more than just a friend.
