Nam Da-reum to return as a more mature actor

30 Jul - Nam Da-reum is set to make his acting comeback after a year of hiatus since his military discharge.

The news was shared by his agency BAA on 29 July, as they dropped several new photos of the actor.

They wrote, "After his military service, we look forward to the day when we can show the public a more mature Nam Da-reum as an actor. Starting with this profile release, he will begin his acting career in earnest in the second half of this year."

In the released photos, Nam seemed to have shed the innocent boyish charm he has shown so far and has displayed a more mature look.

Said BAA CEO Lim Chae-hong, "We promise to show the public a new Nam Da-reum. Through partnerships with overseas entertainment companies, we will showcase a diverse range of works of him as a global artiste. In the future, BAA plans to establish a global management that is one step ahead for actor Nam Da-reum."

Nam, who started his career as a child actor, served his mandatory military service in February 2022 and was discharged in August 2023. His last work prior to his hiatus was the 2022 movie, "A Birth".
