Najwa Latif says no to singing competition
29 Sep - Najwa Latif recently reiterated her stance that she will not be joining any singing competition.
In a recent social media post, Najwa responded to a fan's question as to whether she will join Astro's "Gegar Vaganza", the singing competition that pits singers against each other.
"I've got this question before, but I will answer it again. It is unlikely that I will join any kind of competition. I know my vocal talent is average and doesn't have the "package" like all the other singers," she said.
Najwa also stated that she is not as pretty, as stylish, nor is she that great at socialising with others.
"I know myself. I'd rather not compete, and instead just do my own thing," said the "Muka Buku" singer.
It is noted that this year's "Gegar Vaganza" sees big names that include Jaclyn Victor, Tomok, Shila Amzah, and Bob giving their all in hopes of winning first place.
