Nabila Razali appointed as Malaysian Muslim Travel Ambassador for Taiwan
30 Aug - Nabila Razali has been named the Malaysian Muslim Travel Ambassador 2024 for Taiwan.
In a statement released by the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, the singer has been appointed the ambassador as a way to attract more Muslim travellers to the island, including through the launch of the new Muslim-friendly promotional video, "Jom Taiwan!"
"This is truly an honour for me. I am able to share my travelling experience, and let people see the country's natural beauty and its friendly atmosphere," she said.
Nabila said that she has already visited several attractions including Bitou Cape, the Tanyashen Greenway in Taichung, the Jingtong Station on the Pingxi Line, various theme parks, as well as tasted Taiwanese Muslim cuisine.
It is noted that many Malaysian visitors have opted to travel to Taiwan between January to April this year, making the country one of Taiwan's key Southeast Asian markets.
Meanwhile, the Jom Taiwan! promotional video will be broadcast several ways, including via Malaysian television, outdoor billboards and online platforms.
