Mysterious New Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 Collaborations Surface
We’re only a little over two weeks into the new year and Nigel Sylvester’s Air Jordan 4 “Brick by Brick” collaboration has already emerged as a contender for one of 2025’s most desirable sneakers. After a series of early leaks and teasers, the footwear project (and an accompanying range of “Bike Air” apparel) was formally unveiled Tuesday evening amongst a gathering of friends and family in NYC. The shoes, which are colored in a combination of Firewood Orange, Sail and Cinnabar, represent the step-by-step ascendance of Sylvester’s career. But the nearly tonal brick-hued Air Jordan 4 wasn’t the only sneaker on display Tuesday.
Tucked beneath one model’s black denim jeans was a starkly different Air Jordan 4, one which appeared to resemble the model’s original “Fire Red” colorway. Although the full shoe cannot be seen, it appears to feature a white leather upper with bright red accents. One of the signature details featured on Sylvester’s Air Jordans, an embroidered mini Swoosh logo, appears near the toe in red.

And zooming in on the pair reveals some vintage-inspired detailing on the shoe’s outsole and TPU netting, which appear in cream shades. Further details of the shoe are obscured, but it’s likely that the white colorway also features the same reflective underlay beneath its netting seen on the brick red pair. Unlike the red pair, the white iteration does not appear to feature a texturized toe panel.
But the first looks didn’t end there. Yet another previously unseen Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 was shared Tuesday by sneaker collector @thejordanvault. While it’s currently difficult to determine the legitimacy of this pair, it opts for a similar tonal execution as the “Brick by Brick” colorway, but swaps out the Firewood Orange shade for a vibrant royal blue. The blue pair features a textured toe but does not include the mini Swoosh embroidery. At the heel, Sylvester’s signature “Bike Air” branding replaces the sneaker’s traditional Nike Air logo.
Early reports from those on scene state that the white-based version of the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 will be released before the end of the year. As for the blue-based version, it’s possible that the pair is merely a sample and will not make it to retail.
In the meantime, Sylvester’s “Brick by Brick” Air Jordan 4 and his “Bike Air” apparel collection will be released on March 14. Retail pricing for the sneakers is expected to be $225.
