Myolie Wu on infidelity: I would forgive my husband
22 Sep – Although she plays a woman whose husband cheated on her with another woman in her new series, "Iron Ladies", Myolie Wu herself has a different take on infidelity after many years of being married.
In an interview with Mingpao recently, the actress stated that it's hard to say when it comes to the topic, as she has a different viewpoint from when she was still single.
"Before getting married and becoming a mother, one would definitely say that it is totally unacceptable. But now that you have a family, such a decision involves many people and you have to consider many things. In reality, I think I would forgive my husband, though the sting would definitely be felt," she said.
Myolie, who is in her fifth year of marriage with businessman Philip Lee, stated that the two of them are learning new things every day about each other.
"Tolerance is very important. Since both parties have their advantages and disadvantages, everybody should have the same goals or it would be hard to keep going. I am thankful that my husband gives me a good sense of security," she said.
