Myolie Wu doesn't think TVB will ban her
29 Apr – Despite making her television comeback with ViuTV instead of her former broadcaster TVB, Myolie Wu stated that she is not worried at all that it could ruin her good relationship with the latter.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who attended the press conference of the ViuTV drama, "Mature Strong Women" recently, shared that the reason she accepted to play a role in the said series following the birth of her second son was because of the character that was offered to her.
"I never played a doctor before, and the character is a sex therapist and psychologist. It's something fresh," she said.
Asked if her decision to star in TVB's rival network meant that she has no plans to return to her former company, Myolie said that her relationship with TVB is fine.
"They actually offered me a project earlier, but I was pregnant at the time. I'm sure we'll have opportunity to collaborate, though not necessarily in the near future. The showbiz world is not that big," she said.
On the other hand, when mentioned that the 2020 Miss Hong Kong pageant will be changing its format to be fully online, the former Miss Hong Kong stated that there is no other way to hold the event during the pandemic.
"I look forward to see it. Let's wait and see," she said.
