Elle's March cover star is supermodel Vittoria Ceretti. Ssense and Essence collaborate to celebrate Black designers
Online luxury retailer Ssense and homophonic magazine Essence are teaming up to celebrate Black fashion designers through a multiplatform partnership. A three-part video adaptation of Essence's "In the Studio" will launch on ssense.com featuring designers Bianca Saunders on Feb. 26, Mowalola Ogunles on Feb. 27 and Stanley Raffington on Feb. 28. The partnership also includes an A to Z Guide to Black designers, launching Feb. 29, and product-driven stories where Essence editors curate items from Ssense. {Fashionista inbox}

Y/Project cancels Paris Fashion Week show
Citing "uncertain times," Y/Project has canceled its Paris Fashion Week show originally slated for March 3 at 7 p.m. Now, the brand will showcase its Fall 2024 collection through a lookbook, according to a statement sent to WWD. "This strategic shift reflects Y/Project's commitment to prioritizing investments in the growth of the company, its teams, and its product offerings. By reallocating resources, the brand aims to promote Y/Project in the most effective manner possible," the brand said. {WWD/paywalled}

BuzzFeed sells Complex for $108 million
After acquiring Complex for $300 million in 2021, BuzzFeed has sold the entertainment media brand to livestream shopping platform NTWRK for $108.6 million, the companies announced on Wednesday. BuzzFeed also announced it plans to cut expenses, including laying off 16% of staff. BuzzFeed will retain ownership of Complex's First We Feast, which produces "Hot Ones." {Axios}
