20 Years of 'America's Next Top Model'
Happy birthday to "America's Next Top Model!" Spanning 24 seasons and two decades, the reality TV show defined a generation of fashion media, despite some of its less-than-favorable early-2000s antics. From perpetuating beauty standards to working with Tyra Banks, these contestants share what it was like behind the scenes. {The Cut/paywalled}

The next wave of beauty acquisitions
The global beauty industry has remained an appealing sector for investors and consumers alike, despite an increasingly turbulent global economy. With a projected market share increase of $50 billion in the next two years, the beauty industry remains a viable place to do business — as long as you invest in the right places. Potential targets for the next few years include Augustinus Bader, Glow Recipe, K18 and Supergoop. Rather than just backing beauty brands with rapid social media buzz, investors are turning to those that can demonstrate true customer loyalty, Kati Chitrakorn reports in Vogue Business. {Vogue Business/paywalled}
