"Murder Diary" producer to leave TVB

25 Aug – It was revealed that TVB is set to lose another gem, with producer Kwan Shu Ming leaving the nest soon.

As reported on HK01, the producer, known for shows like "My Unfair Lady", "Another Era", and "Wife Interrupted", admitted that he will be departing from the broadcaster soon to launch his own company with friends.

"This opportunity is very special. To have this opportunity at this age, I've thought about it and I think there may be some adjustments to be made. I think I have to try and take one more step in my life," he said.

It is noted that Kwan, who started at TVB as an assistant director in 1994, still has two more dramas to be completed with TVB - the Roxanne Tong-starrer, "OPM" and Benjamin Yuen's new series, "Gatekeepers".

Meanwhile, his current series is "Murder Diary", which co-stars Kara Hui and Vincent Wong.
