Every month, we’ll tell you what upcoming movies are screening in cinemas islandwide, and which are the ones that you must watch.
Overview of September’s releases
There’s almost one animated film per week to look forward to in September, ranging from light-hearted (“The Secret Life of Pets”) to poignant (“Kubo and the Two Strings”). You’ve got more romances and science fiction films this month, but no tent-pole superhero movie (giving us all a breather to catch up on those films we’ve missed). The highlight of the month is “Blair Witch,” with its short but terrifying sojourn into the forest of a horrifying witch.
