The Mountain sets foot in "Encantadia"
12 Jul - The Mountain is coming to "Encantadia", as Australian actor Conan Stevens, who played the character Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane in "Game of Thrones", has confirmed his guest appearance in the upcoming fantasy-series.
As reported on Manila Bulletin, Stevens, who spoke to the media recently regarding his role in the retelling of the hit 2005 series, stated, "I can't talk about it but I can say that I tend to get typecasted."
"Big, imposing. I tend to get those roles," he added.
Stevens set tongues wagging back in June when he was photographed at the set of the upcoming series.
Director Mark Reyes hinted about his participation with a photo of Stevens on Instagram, and wrote, "We GOT him".
"Encantadia" star Gabbi Garcia, who plays Alena in the new instalment, also shared a photo of the actor online, saying, "Met Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane from The Game of Thrones!" and tagged it "#GameOfThronesMeetsEncantadia".
