More "Outsiders" alum appears in movie adaptation
14 Aug – Following Ady An's appearance in the upcoming movie version of "The Outsiders", it was revealed that more original cast members are now participating in the filming.
As reported on Epoch Times, recently, Blue Lan, Michael Zhang, and Joelle Lu were spotted shooting the movie in Kaohsiung, and seemed to enjoy their reunion.
Said Blue, who played the role of Shan Li-jie in the original, it has been a long time since they last saw each other, especially Joelle, and that it brought him back all the way to 15 years ago.
"I was touched when I heard that producer Ke Yi-qin was producing a movie version, because a lot of people grew up watching the drama," he said.
On the other hand, Joelle, who played the envious Hong Dou in the original, shared that "The Outsiders" was her second drama ever following her debut in "The Rose".
"I am excited for the new actors who are participating in the movie since the drama was a classic," she said.
