Moon Lau is elated for TVB Awards' nominations

30 Dec – Moon Lau is elated that she is in the top ten of four different categories at the upcoming TVB Anniversary Awards.

The actress, who attended the meet and greet session with the media hosted by TVB to promote the upcoming event, shared that she has been nominated in the Most Improved category, Most Popular TV Actress, Most Popular Onscreen Pair, as well as the coveted TV Queen title.

"I am honoured, satisfied, and grateful," said the actress when asked about the nominations. "It's very encouraging, though I am more confident on winning Most Improved rather than the rest."

Moon said that next year would be her tenth year in the industry, and being nominated in so many categories would be a great opportunity for her.

"I have confidence, but I can't control who wins and all that. The most important thing is to continue to be a good actor," she added.

It is noted that the actress starred in two dramas this year, "The Beauty of War" and "I've Got the Power". She also made a guest appearance in "The Righteous Fist".

China anchors 'monster ship' in South China Sea, Philippine coast guard says
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said on Saturday that China's largest coastguard vessel has anchored in Manila's exclusive economic zone (EEZ) in the South China Sea, and is meant to intimidate its smaller Asian neighbour.
