Miss Hong Kong 2019 envious of fellow alumna, Kayan Choi
28 Oct– Miss Hong Kong 2019 Carmaney Wong recently admitted that she couldn't help but feel envious of her fellow pageant alumna Kayan Choi, who has been getting a lot of opportunities from TVB.
As reported on On CC, the beauty queen, who appeared at the press conference of TVB's Anniversary Gala show alongside her fellow Miss Hong Kong runner-ups Fei Wong and Kelly Gu, stated that Kayan is fortunate to be able to sign with TVB immediately after the pageant, although she understands the differences of their situation.
"Our duties are different right now. We (the winners) have to focus on doing charity work and preparing for the Miss Chinese International pageant. I hope as soon as my duties are completed, I will be able to film series and variety shows with the company," she said.
Carmaney, who previously admitted that she has plans to sign with TVB and become an actress, also added that she would be interested to be a part of a travel show due to her love of travelling.
"I have a blog where I could share my experiences," she said.
YouTuber and social media influencer Kayan Choi, who was a favourite to win Miss Hong Kong 2019, ended up in the top 5 but was immediately signed with TVB following the pageant. She has already been assigned to several gigs, including the variety show, "All Girls Talk".
