Minister Fahmi Fadzil congratulates Michelle Yeoh for Golden Globe win

12 Jan – Malaysian Minister of Communications and Digital Ahmad Fahmi bin Mohamed Fadzil recently congratulated Michelle Yeoh for her Golden Globe win.

Retweeting the news of Yeoh's win on 11 January, the minister posted, "Congratulations Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh! What an amazing feat, and definitely well-deserved."

"An honour for the country," he added.

The Ipoh-born actress won Best Actress in the Musical or Comedy category for her performance in "Everything Everywhere All At Once" at the Golden Globes Awards, which was held on 11 January at 9am MYT.

Yeoh bested Lesley Manville ("Mrs Harris Goes to Paris"), Margot Robbie ("Babylon"), Anya Taylor-Joy ("The Menu") and Emma Thompson ("Good Luck to You, Leo Grande") to win the award.
