Millie Bobby Brown had a star turn last year in Netflix’s Stranger Things. But we all quickly realized that she had another amazing talent: Covering pop songs. It’s something she’s been doing since she was a wee child, and Brown rightly flexes her chops on the regular.

Case in point: Brown was at Argentina Comic Con this weekend and brought the house down with two ambitious covers.

Brown previously tackled Amy Winehouse and Adele, among others, so she clearly can make a go with her range. For this occasion, she went with Katy Perry’s “Firework” and Beyoncé’s version of “Ave Maria.” Surprise, the audience went wild:

We do have to wonder what was the thinking behind those choices this time. “Firework” is a classic pop karaoke song, but “Ave Maria”? (Even if you’re channeling Beyoncé and not, y’know, a singer in composer Franz Schubert’s time.) But Brown is versatile; after all, she tackled Nicki Minaj’s “Monster” verse last year. So classical arias are just one more notch in her considerable covers songbook.

That said, we’d love to hear her cover a proper Beyoncé single. Might we suggest “Countdown”? (Complete with a proper music video tribute too; paging Lip Sync Battle.) Regardless, if she ever wants to swap career paths, pop divadom seems to be calling.
