Miki Yeung ties the knot with Edwin Kwok
8 Apr - Cantopop singer and actress Miki Yeung has tied the knot with rich boyfriend, Edwin Kwok.
As reported on Mingpao news, the singer, who has been dating her boyfriend for eight years, was revealed to have submitted her Notice of Intended Marriage with Edwin recently.
When asked about it, Miki thanked the media for their concern and said that it was just a general procedure and that she will only talk about it at an appropriate time.
According to sources, Edwin proposed to Miki last year during their vacation in Iceland. The two of them reportedly will hold their wedding banquet in June.
The couple's romance started back in 2009 and was marred with controversies since Edwin was yet to be divorced from his wife at the time. However, both parties denied rumours that Miki was the third party in their marriage. Edwin's ex-wife even congratulated them for their relationship.
Rumours of an upcoming marriage also sparked last month, when Edwin posted a heartfelt message online to Miki, saying, "Let us spend the rest of our lives together exploring this challenging wonderful world."
