Michelle Wai says no more horror films for her in the near future

27 Aug – Hong Kong actress Michelle Wai recently admitted that she has no plans to take on another horror film project following the release of "Binding Souls".

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who sat down for an interview to promote the new movie alongside co-star Alex Lam, stated that while the movie was actually shot two years ago, she could still feel the lingering fear of filming the project when she finally saw the finished product.

"I have always loved watching supernatural shows since I was small, but after I joined showbiz, I decided not to shoot horror films. I will not do this kind of genre again in the near future," she said.

Michelle also admitted that she suffered from insomnia for two months after filming the movie and had to take some time to finally regain normalcy in her life.

"In the future, I hope to do more comedy and action films to dilute the memory of shooting this film," she said, lightheartedly.

Carlos Chan, Tsao Yuning, Alex Lam, and Kara Hui also co-star in "Binding Souls".
