Michelle Monaghan will be in "Mission: Impossible 6"

Instagram, confirming her appearance in "Mission: Impossible 6".

14 June – It has been confirmed that Michelle Monaghan will be making an appearance as Julia Meade-Hunt in the upcoming "Mission Impossible 6".

She went to Twitter and announced the news by posting a picture of herself with the caption: "Mission accepted."

The movie's writer and director, Christopher McQuarrie also confirmed the news by posting the same picture on Instagram.

Other actors have also been confirmed to return and reprise their roles in the latest instalment of the "Mission: Impossible" franchise, such as Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Alec Baldwin, Sean Harris, as well as the star of the series, Tom Cruise.

Meanwhile, Henry Cavill, Vanessa Kirby and Sian Brooke have been added on to the movie as new and yet unknown characters.

Monaghan's character first appeared as Dr. Julia Meade, the fiancé of Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt in "Mission: Impossible III" where her character discovers that she was engaged to a secret agent. The two ended up married by the end of the movie and her character appeared at the end of "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol".

Principal shooting for "Mission Impossible 6" started on 8 April in Paris. The movie is set to be released on 26 July 2018.

Monaghan stars in the Hulu TV series, "The Path" with Aaron Paul and Hugh Darcy. Her recent film credits include this year's "Patriots Day" and "Sleepless".
