Michelle Chan and Chen Xiao hold Taipei wedding
22 Jul - Following their Beijing wedding, Michelle Chen and husband Chen Xiao recently held another reception, this time at the actress' hometown, Taipei.
As reported in Apple Daily, the couple walked down the aisle for the second time this week at the Taipei Mandarin Oriental Hotel, witnessed by family and friends, including her "You're The Apple of My Eye" director Giddens Ko and her co-star, Steven Hao, actress Tiffany Hsu, and singer Rainie Yang.
The couple chose Jacky Cheung's song "Someone" as the music accompaniment as they enter the hall, which was decorated with pink florals, Michelle's favourite colour.
They also shared their oath for each other. Chen took the lead, and expressed, "Every day I will strive for my wife, to make you laugh, make you happy. I love you for life."
Michelle Chen went on to say: "My dearest husband, I thank you, God has given me a very good man."
Good friend Rainie Yang also performed at the wedding, singing Doris Day's "Dream a Little Dream of Me" and Coldplay's "Yellow".
When asked about Michelle's pregnancy, the couple stated that they will keep the gender a secret for now. As to whether they have plans to have more than one child, Chen responded, "We'll see after this one is born."
