Michele Gumabao says no to more beauty pageants

30 Oct – Professional athlete and TV personality Michele Gumabao recently stated that she will not be entering any more beauty pageants in the future.

As reported on PEP, the 28 year-old volleyball player, who won second runner-up in the recently held Miss Universe-Philippines pageant, said that she would be too old to be joining other similar competitions due to her age.

"But, this is the beginning of even brighter journey [because] I have a lot of different businesses to bring in to the Philippines. And now I have the time to do so," she said.

Gumabao also revealed that she is also aiming for another "career", though added that she will announce it in due time.

The TV personality admitted that life has been chaotic since she joined the pageant, since she took some time off just to focus on it.

"So, after the two weeks we have been in Baguio, I am now chasing all the work, all the responsibilities that have been put on hold. So, it is a bit busy," she added.
