Michael Miu, Jessica Hsuan win TV King & Queen in Malaysia
28 Nov – Michael Miu and Jessica Hsuan have recently been named TV King and Queen at the recently held 2017 TVB Star Awards Malaysia.
As reported on Mingpao, Michael, who won his first ever TV King in Malaysia for his role in "Line Walker: The Prelude" at the event held on 25 November, expressed his gratitude for the recognition, especially to his Malaysian fans.
He also mentioned former TVB producer Tommy Leung, and wife Jaime Chik in his speech, saying that he is dedicating his win to them.
Michael beat other favourites to win the award, including StarHub TVB Awards Best Leading Actor, Vincent Wong.
On the other hand, Jessica Hsuan won TV Queen for her role in her hit comeback drama, "My Unfair Lady", defeating other nominees including Nancy Wu and Ali Lee.
"I left the company for five years and came back to do "My Unfair Lady". I really enjoyed filming the drama, and winning an award is a bonus," she said.
Aside from the two coveted awards, both stars also won My Favourite TVB Drama Characters for their role in the aforementioned dramas.
