Michael Chow to make acting comeback

23 Aug - After a long hiatus from the film industry, Hong Kong actor Michael Chow (Chow Man Kin) revealed that he is set to make a comeback through Philip Yung's new movie.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the 56-year-old actor, who appeared at the launch of his dumpling shop in Tin Hau recently, shared that he will play an inspector and will be working with Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Aaron Kwok, and Patrick Tam in the movie.

Aaron and Philip previously collaborated in the award-winning movie, "Port of Call".

"Philip saw my car commercial, and immediately contacted me and offered me a role. I didn't miss acting that much, but it's rare to get a good script, so I agreed," said the actor.

When asked if he is nervous about being in front of the camera again, Michael said that he is more confident than ever, after gaining a lot of life experiences since leaving the limelight.
