Menggie Cobarrubias passed away
27 Mar – Veteran actor Domingo "Menggie" Cobarrubias has recently passed away.
As reported on ABS-CBN News, the news was confirmed by his wife Gina Jorge Cobarrubias on social media on 26 March.
She posted, "Goodbye my love. Thank you for the 30 wonderful years. I love you. Dear God please give me the strength to be able to face this very difficult moment of my life."
However, she made no mention as to what was the cause of death.
On the other hand, niece Patricia Prudon revealed on a now-deleted post on Facebook that Cobarrubias passed away due to complications from pneumonia.
The family is still awaiting the results of his COVID-19 test.
