A member of The Sam Willows just got engaged
It’s definitely a wonderful time of the year for one of the members of local band The Sam Willows.
The band announced on Instagram on Friday (22 December) that lead guitarist Jonathan Chua has put a ring on Malaysia’s television host Amanda Chaang.
The photo showed the couple posing together in New York and showing off the diamond ring.
“Much congrats… many love @jonchuajx & @amandachaang,” said in the post. It also added what appears to be “the” question Chua had popped to his new fiance: “Won’t you spend the rest of your life with me?”
On his own Instagram account, Chua thanked his family and friends for the well wishes. “Beginning this new chapter with the widest smile ever,” he said.
Chua is a long-time member of local band The Sam Willows, which was formed in May 2012. Meanwhile, Chaang is a host on Astro’s SuperSports Channel.
