Melody Liu's ex-husband plans to sue

21 Jul – Several weeks after revealing her divorce, it was reported that Taiwanese singer and TV personality Melody Liu may be facing a lawsuit from her ex, Wu Yu-Qi.

As reported on Oriental Daily, a source close to Wu shared that the business executive is filing a suit against the singer for what he described as "an unfair divorce agreement".

The source stated that in the divorce agreement that Wu was supposedly forced into signing, Melody requested for full ownership of all the properties obtained during the course of their marriage, worth NTD 100 million.

This include two houses, with one of them being Melody's current home in Xinyi District of Taipei City. Wu reportedly was enraged by the situation and will be filing a petition for "invalidation of a divorce agreement".

Meanwhile, Melody is keeping mum about the supposed lawsuit, saying that she will no longer provide any details regarding the divorce.

Melody married her husband, 15 years her senior in 2006. The two are parents to daughters Olivia and Fiona. It was in early July that she announced her separation.
