Melissa and Undercover Drop New Collaboration With Chunky Jewel Tone Loafers & Slides
Brazilian sustainable footwear brand Melissa and Japanese streetwear brand Undercover have partnered on a second footwear collaborative footwear collection. The new Melissa + Undercover drop offers two chunky, trendy shapes: the new Patty Stone mule in three colorways and Royal High platform loafers in four colorways.
The eye-catching collection “explores commercial forms with avant-garde notions, combined with each brand’s core values of responsible consumption and unexpected design,” according to the press release. The shoes are made from Melissa’s patented Melflex recyclable candy-scented PVC and cushy Grenflex PVC insole.

The Melissa + Undercover Patty Stones are an ultra-tall platform slide embellished with large mock gemstones. The feature a sleek monochrome design and come in gold, teal and black. The sandal retails for $192.
The Melissa + Undercover Royal High is a very on-trend chunky platform loafer. It comes in all-black, translucent black, pink and golden brown, the latter two of which feature off-white soles. The loafer retails for $212.
The new Melissa + Undercover collection is currently available to purchase on both brands’ websites.
The first Melissa + Undercover collection was released in February 2023. The Brazilian brand, which was founded in 1979, is known for partnering with noteworthy designers, dating back to their first with Jean Paul Gaultier in YEAR, along with Thierry Mugler, Jason Wu, Comme des Garçons and, most recently, Telfar.
