Melania Trump Dons Classic White Suede Pumps at Commander and Chief Ball 2025
Melania Trump attended the Commander and Chief Ball held on Sunday in Washington, D.C. alongside her husband President Donald Trump. The president and his wife will likely attend all three inaugural balls after Donald was sworn in this morning.
Classic and simple, Melania went the uncomplicated route in a pair of stark white pumps. The chosen silhouette, likely from Manolo Blahnik, included stark white uppers in what looked to be suede. The suede offered the silhouette textural interest. Triangular toes gave way to 3 to 4-inch stiletto heels that lifted the former model to new heights.

Manolo Blahnik’s BB silhouette is almost identical to the style Melania chose for the occasion. The silhouette also happens to be a favorite of hers, so much so that she wore the same sude style in black during Donald’s inauguration ceremony earlier today. The BB model comes in a range of heel heights and colorways.
Partnered with her chic suede footwear, Melania sported a white and black gown. The garment featured a strapless bodice and was crafted of majority white fabric. A black ribbon was draped across the bodice in a free-flowing fashion, offering contrast and creating movement.
Melania can often be seen in pointed-toe pumps and flats in hues of black and white by her go-to designer, Christian Louboutin. However, she also dons similar styles from Alaia, Roger Vivier and Dior.
The 2025 Commander-In-Chief Inaugural Ball is being held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. tonight. Country music band Rascal Flatts and country music singer-songwriter Parker McCollum are expected to perform. President Donald Trump is expected to deliver remarks at the ball.
There are three inaugural balls in total, each with a distinct purpose. These include the Commander in Chief Ball, Liberty Inaugural Ball and Starlight Ball. All three will be held at the Washington Convention Center.
