Meghan Markle Wore All Female Designers for International Women's Day
On Friday, Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle visited an east London school to host an assembly about the importance of empowering women.
The surprise visit was in honor of International Women's Day, which is being celebrated around the world today.
Meghan made an added statement at the event by wearing all female designers for the occasion.

The Duchess of Sussex underscored her message of female empowerment by wearing all female designers for the visit with students at Robert Clack Upper School in Dagenham, according to a report from The Telegraph.
The royal opted to a monochromatic look for the engagement, anchored by a cream ME+EM bouclé blazer embellished with buttons and fringe detailing. ME+EM was founded by Clare Hornby in 2009 and boasts on its website that it's the first luxury label in the UK to disrupt the market by doing all of its work in-house to keep prices as affordable as possible without sacrificing quality.
Meghan paired the blazer with a knit, white top and cropped, black trousers and accessorized with pieces from two other female designers: Two-tone Jennifer Chamandi Lorenzo 85 suede pumps and a cream-colored, knotted bag by Rejina Pyo.
Jennifer Chamandi Boghossian started the London-based shoe brand after leaving her banking job and Rejina Pyo, also London-based, is a South Korean fashion designer focused on crafting modern, wearable, high-quality pieces and sustainable products and processes.
This isn't the only recent engagement at which Meghan made a point of supporting female designers. The duchess also wore pieces by emerging female designers to the Mountbatten Festival of Music in London on March 7, Hello! magazine notes.
