The duchess couldn’t hide her huge smile when she revealed she calls her husband Prince Harry by the affectionate nickname 'H'.
Wile speaking to news presenter Tom Bradby, who has been friends with Prince Harry for around 15 years, Meghan said: "I’ve said for a long time to H...”
After a slight pause and giggle, she added: “That's what I call him.”
The Duchess was discussing coping with living life in the royal spotlight and when asked by Bradby if she can deal with it and manage it she responded: “I’ve said for a long time to H....it’s not enough to survive something, right? That’s not the point of life. You’ve got to thrive, you’ve got to feel happy.”
After the ITV documentary: ‘Harry and Meghan: An African Journey’ aired viewers headed to Twitter to comment on the sweet insight to the couple’s relationship.
Many royal fans described the pet name is “adorable”, with others saying they were going to adopt similar ones for their partners.

Also in the documentary ‘Harry & Meghan: An African Journey’ Meghan revealed she was warned by her friends not to marry Prince Harry as the British tabloids “will destroy your life.”
The Duchess explained that the year since marrying Prince Harry had been “hard”, but said she's tried to “adopt this British sensibility of a stiff upper lip” as a method of coping.
She says when she first met the duke her friends in the US were “so happy because I was so happy” but her British friends warned her: “You shouldn't do it - the British tabloids will destroy your life.”
Despite being advised against the royal romance, Meghan couldn’t hide her love for her husband.
Discussing their “love story” she said: “I would hope that the world gets to the point that they see us as just a couple who is in love.
“I don’t wake up every day and identify with being anything other than what I’ve always been,” she continued.
“I just married this incredible man and to me this is just part of our love story.”
‘H’ isn’t the only pet name the duchess uses for her husband. In August 2018, the 38-year-old looked a little embarrassed after she accidentally revealed she calls him, “my love”.
The reveal came while the couple were posing with the cast of the musical ‘Hamilton’ after a special gala performance, Meghan, worried that she was standing in Harry's way for the group shot, said: “Can you see, my love?”
After some of the cast spotted their sweet exchange and responded with ‘Awws’, Meghan said: “Oh!” then laughed while Prince Harry looked on blushing.
