McDonald’s in Malaysia has been cashing in on the love for Korean dramas by creating hilarious ads for their new Spicy Korean Burger.

Launched on Tuesday (25 July, the same Singaporeans mourned the end of the Nasi Lemak Burger), the Spicy Korean Burger has a kimchi-seasoned beef patty, mixed vegetables, grilled onions and cheese in a charcoal bun.

To promote the burger, McDonald’s Malaysia released three posters with titles that are a play on popular Korean drama titles, “Descendants of the Sun”, “My Love From The Stars” and “Boys Over Flowers”.

They also released three trailers accompanying each poster, one of which features a couple dramatically complaining about the spicy new burger.

Sadly, the Spicy Korean Burger and its accompanying ads are only available in Malaysia. For now.
