McDonald’s Singapore is bringing back the Samurai Burger and, for a limited period from Thursday (4 October), it is also introducing a new menu item – the Creamy Herb Chicken Pie, which is the fast food chain’s first-ever savoury pie.

The Creamy Herb Chicken Pie contains a creamy mixture of chicken, potato, carrots, peas and mushrooms in a flaky crust. It costs $1.80.

The Samurai Burger, a regular fixture of McDonald’s promotions, comes in two versions – grilled chicken patty or beef quarter pounder – with teriyaki sauce. It costs $6.10 a la carte.

Customers who upsize their Samurai Burger meal to a Samurai Special will get the Roasted Sesame and Seaweed Shaker Fries and a Heaven and Earth Green Tea with their meal. The Samurai Special costs $8.80.
