SINGAPORE — McDonald’s Singapore is adding a new item to its breakfast menu beginning Thursday (27 February) – Donut Sticks.

The Donut Sticks remind us of local Chinese fried dough fritters (though they’re shorter and sweeter, like churros), but in fact, this menu item was introduced in the United States last year.

Coming in a six-piece set, Donut Sticks cost $2.20 a la carte, and $3 with a McCafe Premium Roast Coffee. We imagine they’ll go well with coffee – the pastries, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, are sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.

Donut Sticks are available during breakfast hours (until 11am) at all McDonald’s restaurants with the exception of the outlets at Singapore Science Centre and Shaw Theatres Lido.

This comes on the back of other exciting breakfast news at McDonald’s – the popular McGriddles was brought back recently on the menu, but it’s now available all day instead of limited to the breakfast period.
