Mayday's Monster welcomes first child
23 Sep – Mayday guitarist Monster is now a father to a healthy baby girl.
According to Mingpao, the band leader shared the good news on social media by posting a photo of his baby, saying in the caption that she inherited her mother's bright eyes and his strong fingers.
"When I finally met you, you easily exceeded the limit of my imagination," he added.
Friends including Jay Chou, Stefanie Sun, Jam Hsiao, and Mayday vocalist Ashin congratulated him for the new addition, with the former writing, "Congratulations. I am happy for you."
Monster (real name Wen Shang-yi) tied the knot with his girlfriend of two years, Lu Zhiying in 2015 - making him the second last of the group members to tie the knot - with Ashin yet to get married.
