Maya Jama channels Scary Spice in plunging bra top and leopard print
Maya Jama is our forever go-to for on-trend style inspo. Take a scroll down her Instagram feed and you'll find curated casual 'fits consisting of oversized graphic tees paired with bubble skirts, crochet beach cover-ups elevating even the tiniest of micro bikinis plus bombshell-worthy corset dresses forming the basis of her Love Island presenting wardrobe. Not to mention date night dressing attire now she's back on again with Stormzy.
In short, she never misses an opportunity to serve a fashion moment. Including at the Serpentine Summer Party 2024 held in London last night [25 June 2024]. Although rather than her usual Y2K aesthetic, Maya instead gave us a '70s fashion vibe.
She arrived channelling Scary Spice in a plunging velvet triangle bra top and black flared-leg trousers, the pointed toes of her heels peeping out beneath the wide hems. She added a draped leopard print wrap top, worn open, over the top with the sleeves of the oversized garment trailing well past her fingertips.
Her only accessory was a coordinating leopard print wide headband that complemented her hair which was styled into a voluminous beehive to maximise the retro feel. As for the rest of her beauty look, she opted for natural makeup and a nude lip, with a thick black cat-eye liner flick adding just a touch of drama.
A signature style is all well and good, but fashion is all about having fun, IMO, and Maya's outfit mix-up proves sometimes it's a good thing to step out of your comfort zone and try a new trend. We told you, she's always giving us inspo.
