Matt Yeung clarifies rumours of affair with Katy Kung
27 Sep - TVB actor Matt Yeung has denied recent rumours claiming that he has cheated on girlfriend Lisa Ch'ng with fellow actress Katy Kung.
As reported on Mingpao News, previously, Katy lied to the media when she was spotted at the airport to attend Jason Chan and Sarah Song's wedding, saying that she was on her way to Malaysia.
However, sources are now saying that she is actually having an affair with Matt and deliberately changed her tickets so that they can spend time together on the plane.
Matt had since responded to the rumours via Weibo with a photo of him and Lisa together.
He stated that while the two of them originally wanted to dismiss the rumours and laugh about it, he decided to clarify so that it won't cause any misunderstanding among his friends and family members.
"I have never hurt Lisa and she told me that she trust me very much, so there is no problem [between us]," he said.
He also explained that he has already booked his tickets half a year in advance, and that it was just a coincidence that he and Katy Kung were in the same flight.
"Please do not overthink it, thank you," he said.
