Masaki Aiba welcomes first child
25 Oct – Masaki Aiba is now officially a father.
On 23 October, his agency Johnny & Associates relayed Masaki's announcement, saying, "My first child, a son, has been born recently. I am happy with the new addition to my family and grateful that the birth went well."
Masaki is only the second ARASHI member to become a father after Kazunari Ninomiya, who welcomed his first daughter in March last year.
The singer tied the knot with his non-celebrity girlfriend in September last year, which made headlines as it also coincided with fellow member Sho Sakurai's marriage announcement.
