Maryam Younarae happy to find Korean-translated Quran in London

6 May - Malaysian-based South Korean influencer Maryam Younarae recently expressed elation that she finally found a Quran with Korean translation.

On 3 May, the content creator posted several photos of her approaching a booth where passersby can take a Quran for free during her trip to London.

She then showed one which has Korean letters written across it, and expressed, "I've been looking for Quran in fully Korean translation for so long, I can't even find in Korea. The one I had in Korean isn't full version of Quran."

"Magically when I visited London, I met this very nice young man and he still kept the Korean version. He ran to the store nearby and gave me this rare collection. He said 'This is the last one [I] had, Allah has planned to give you all the way [in] London.'"

Maryam, who is married to Malaysian social media influencer Ryzal Ibrahim, or real name Nik Muhammad Rizal, converted to Islam in July 2019.

The two are parents to three-year-old daughter, Rina.
