The dress featured a dramatic high-low hem design with a train attached to one of the sleeves, with embellishments throughout. Blige paired the gown with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.
Yousef Al Jasmi is known for his tailored and glittery ensembles — Taylor Swift, Ice Spice, Cardi B and Beyoncé are among the celebrities who have worn his designs.
When it comes to her style, Blige often looks to either stylist Maurícía Henry or Jeremy Haynes.
Blige is no stranger to head-turning looks. To the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s “The Albies” in September, she wore a Tony Ward Couture silver blazer dress with dramatic, elongated fringe detailing.
To present Diddy with the Global Icon Award at the 2023 MTV Vmas that same month, she went all-black in an Albina Dyla sparkling set with a feather-adorned high-low skirt.
On Friday, Blige will release her new single, “Still Believe in Love,” featuring Vado.
The 25th Anniversary Angel Ball was an annual fundraiser event hosted by Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for cancer research. It included appearances by Ubah Hassan, Tina Knowles, Robin Thicke, Tamron Hall and more. According to the foundation on average, 88 cents of every dollar raised at the annual ball supports the country’s top cancer research scientists and specialists.
