Martin Lawrence's stand-up show coming to Showtime
Martin Lawrence is getting his first stand-up special in 14 years, as the comic and actor heads to Showtime next month, reports Deadline.
Filmed at Los Angeles's Orpheum Theatre, "Martin Lawrence Doin' Time: Uncut" hits TV screens on September 9, available not only on-air but also on demand and over the internet. Sex, President Obama and Bill Cosby are just some of the themes Lawrence touches on in his act.
Lawrence is best known for the hit TV series "Martin," as well as his film roles in "Bad Boys" and "Bad Boys 2." He is also set to join the cast of "Bad Boys for Life," the newly titled version of "Bad Boys 3."
