Martha Stewart spotted two intertwined snakes outside, and she had some questions.

The lifestyle mogul, 82, posted an Instagram Reel on May 28 of a snake duo she spotted while outdoors.

The clip features two grey and brown snakes wrapping themselves around each other. The reptiles slowly move forward across a gravel path and into a patch of green plants as they intertwine.

Stewart captioned the startling footage with a few questions: "Is this love? Procreation? Murder? What???????," the accomplished author wrote.

To emphasize her curiosity, Stewart added Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On?" as a soundtrack to her snake video.

Several commenters offered their insights in response to Stewart's video.

"This is male on male combat! They are competing for a local female who is cycling! What a find!" one wrote.

"Looks like your milk snake brought a boy to the yard, Martha," joked another.

Outside the comments section, Dr. Evan Antin, two-time winner of PEOPLE's Sexiest Vet Alive title, offered Stewart his take on the snake situation.

"Good spot, @marthastewart48. They do appear to be making babies btw. Sometimes competitor males will wrap each other up in a similar way but usually there is more action at the head-end than the tail-end in that case," Antin wrote in an Instagram Stories post in response to Stewart's video.

While Stewart didn't follow up with a reaction to others' snake insights, she is no stranger to animals. Stewart is the proud parent of numerous pets, including show dogs, cats, peacocks, and cows

Luna Moona, a French bulldog, was the latest addition to the entrepreneur's furry family. Stewart introduced the new pet in an Instagram post on Feb. 29.

"She is a fabulous Frenchie with a superb personality," Stewart wrote of the pup at the time.

Stewart sadly had to say goodbye to a pet recently as well. On April 8, Stewart announced her beloved cat of almost 15 years, Empress Tang, had died.

She wrote about the feline on social media, "She was an awesome cat," adding that Empress Tang "worked hard" and "lived well."
