Marsha Milan to perform in Shanghai

23 May - After Shila Amzah, Vanessa Reynauld, DOLLA, and Bella Astillah, it is now Marsha Milan's turn to show off her singing prowess in China.

The "Akademi Fantasia" alumna recently revealed to BH that she will be representing the country at an upcoming event in Shanghai and promote Malaysian culture to the people there.

"I was offered by Tourism Malaysia to go to Shanghai with them and to perform for two days. Since this month is the Tadau Kaamatan (Harvest Festival) in Sabah, I will be singing several Sabah celebratory songs," she said.

Marsha said that it would be her way of celebrating the Harvest Festival in China.

"I have never been to China, so this will be my first trip. I will be flying to China this Friday," she added.

At the same time, the "Cinta" singer said she is proud of her fellow Sabahan Bella Astillah, who performed at the Wuhu Shenshan Music Festival earlier.

"I always hope that there will be more Sabahan singers in the industry. Maybe because Sabah is further away and the opportunity is smaller, I am happy with what Bella has achieved in music and acting," she said.
