Markus Paterson officially confirms breakup
12 Sep – After Janella Salvador indirectly confirmed rumours of breakup with Markus Paterson by calling herself a single mother, the actor recently made it official on Twitter.
On 9 September, the singer-actor posted a couple of tweets about the nature of their relationship now, saying that the two of them have actually broken up almost a year.
"She's happy in life and I'm happy in life and our only priority is Jude," he said.
Markus also stressed that his previous statement in his podcast about no longer wanting to date celebrities was not about his time with the actress.
"But I understand that it was open to misinterpretation because of the way I phrased it and since we never actually announced our breakup," he said.
Markus and Janella, who announced their relationship back in 2019, welcomed their son Jude in October 2020.
