Mark Nason x Skechers FW19 collection shows off bold yet simple colourways
SINGAPORE – If you think that Fall/Winter collections are all monochrome, the Mark Nason x Skechers Fall/Winter 2019 collection is everything but that. Skechers has teamed up with Los Angeles-based footwear brand Mark Nason to create a line that combines comfort and style. Designer Mark Nason also serves as Skechers USA's Executive Vice President of Product Development.
Coupled with bold colourways and designs inspired by street style, you can strut down the streets with a pair of Mark Nason x Skechers looking like brand ambassador Wu Zhun. Yahoo Lifestyle Singapore was at the media launch of the Mark Nason x Skechers Fall/Winter 2019 Collection at VivoCity. Here are some of our favourite picks from the Neo Block collection.
The highlight of the women’s collection is the Neo Block sneakers and sandals, crafted with a smooth leather upper and either colourblock or tone-on-tone overlays. This shoe’s midsole also features a curved dramatic midfoot block, bound to draw eyeballs to your look – but it retains comfort with a Memory Foam Lux cushioned comfort insole.

This season’s collection for men offer a range of styles suitable for many occasions and outfits, including dress, formal, casual and sports, all keeping in with Mark Nason’s classic, modern look. The Block sneaker features suede panels and mesh fabric overlays for breathability, while the sculpted block design midsole which gives this shoe its namesake also comes with shock-absorbing and wear-resistant properties – meaning you can wear it every day, any day.
We also saw a preview of the Spring/Summer 2020 Collection where we saw much bolder and eye-catching colourways, as well as contrasting prints in a shoe. Think snake print and polka dot print in one shoe. Expect edgy designs and an elevated level of comfort in this collection for your Spring Summer wardrobe.
Featuring a split-sole design reminiscent of dance shoes used by ballet and jazz dancers, the Split’s unique midsole not only creates a sculpted, eye-catching look, but adds stability and flexibility to the sneaker.
The Fall/Winter 2019 collection is currently available at Mark Nason x Skechers stores at Bugis Junction, VivoCity and Jewel Changi Airport, as well as selected styles also stocked at designated Skechers concept stores, while the Spring/Summer 2020 collection will be available from December 2019 at these stores as well.
